After two decades as a successful and Grammy nominated audio engineer I have taken up photography, which until now has been an unvisited childhood fascination. I carried point and shoots for many years and grew frustrated that I couldn't create the images I had in my mind. Foolishly intimidated by the manual controls of a "real" camera, I quieted the fire and moved on.
In the Summer of 2018 I decided that the time had finally come and spent months reading manuals on photography before I even considered purchasing a camera. I eventually bought a used DSLR which has somehow given birth to a multitude of other cameras, lights, developing paraphernalia, filters and other assorted accoutrements.
I still work as an audio engineer both in the studio and live concerts and try to take advantage of the situations that are presented to me. From behind the scene studio shots to street/documentary photography while I am on tour, as well as roaming my home city of Los Angeles.
